Korbach, June 2024. Would you like to quickly and easily check the status of your electric fence and whether your animals are secure, whether you are away or at home? With the new WiFi-enabled turbomax® electric fence energisers from horizont, that is no problem!
The three turbomax® models AN800-D, AN1200-D and AN1500-D are among the most powerful electric fence energisers in the horizont range. They are particularly suitable for farms with large contiguous areas close to farm buildings. The WiFi-enabled turbomax® electric fence energisers AN800-D, AN1200-D and AN1500-D, with powerful stored energy levels of 12, 16 and 23 joules respectively, are ideal for long fences and challenging fence conditions, even with heavy vegetation. Depending on the model, the fence lengths according to CEE are 235 km, 320 km and 350 km. The smart turbomax® electric fence energisers can be operated either from 230 V mains power or a 12 V rechargeable battery. When running on a rechargeable battery, they can optionally also be supplemented with a solar panel.
Remote control via the smartphone app
The smart WiFi-enabled devices in the turbomax® range enable the electric fence energiser to be monitored and controlled easily and conveniently via smartphone, tablet or PC using the user-friendly horizont fences app. The free app is available from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. There are no additional monthly charges for using the app.

Reliable basic functions
In addition to WiFi capability, the three turbomax® models AN800-D, AN1200-D and AN1500-D offer a range of useful basic functions: for greater safety for people and animals, the Impulse Control function switches off the electric fence energiser if pulses are emitted too rapidly (e.g. in the event of a technical fault) or reduces the output energy. Thanks to two-stage technology, higher levels of energy are fed into the fence after a safety interval of 55 seconds in the event of faults such as heavy vegetation or a dropped gate handle, helping to keep animals securely contained even under fault conditions. The electric fence energiser’s LCD display shows the current fence voltage and stored energy. The rechargeable battery voltage and WiFi connection status can also be displayed.
An integrated deep-discharge cut-off effectively protects the rechargeable battery. horizont electric fence energisers are made from high-quality plastics and are UV-resistant, splash-proof, torsion-resistant, impact-resistant and oil-resistant, ensuring many years of durability.
