All-in-one solar case systems

The housing of the ranger^® AS1000SC and ranger^® AS1800SC electric fence systems is designed in the shape of a case. Inside are the electric fence energiser itself, a rechargeable battery and connection materials for earthing and the fence connection. Thanks to the integrated glass solar module recessed into the lid, users are independent of mains power. The module uses high-quality monocrystalline solar cells, which offer greater efficiency and make better use of solar energy than polycrystalline cells. This means livestock owners can secure their pasture anytime and anywhere – in an environmentally friendly way.

The solar electric fence energiser in case format is available in two power classes: the ranger^® AS1000SC delivers an output of 1 joule, while the ranger^® AS1800SC provides an output energy of 1.8 joules. The glass solar panel with monocrystalline PV modules has a power rating of 15 W.

Secure during transport

The interior provides space for a second rechargeable battery (optional) as well as additional accessories. For example, a fence tester or a mains adapter for mains operation can also be stored in the case. A sturdy foam insert with precisely fitting cut-outs ensures that all components remain securely in place during transport. horizont Animal Care has considered every detail: the cables for the earth and fence connections are routed outside through pre-cut guides. Drainage channels in the unit and beneath the solar module reduce the build-up of standing water or ice.

The electric fence energiser is switched on and off using an external stainless-steel switch. The integrated LED display lets users check the status of the electric fence system at a glance without opening the case.

The ranger^® AS1000SC and ranger^® AS1800SC electric fence systems can be operated with either one or two rechargeable batteries at the same time. An optional earth stake is available as an accessory; it can be used to angle the energiser towards the sun while also improving the earthing. This stake can be used alongside the earth stake supplied with the unit.

In the ranger^® AS1000SC and ranger^® AS1800SC electric fence systems, the high-quality solar panel is integrated into the energiser housing.
