horizont Solar Kit 2 Watt
- The battery devices "equiSTOP®" B1 / B2" and trapper® B can be retrofitted with this solar kit
- The solar kit is simply pushed onto the recessed grip of the electric fence unit
- The device works with module in parallel operation (during the day directly via the solar module and at night via a dry battery)
- The device also works via a super fleece battery, which is charged via the module
The solar kit consists of a monocrystalline solar panel with an aluminum frame. The solar kit is easy to install. It is simply pushed onto the recessed grip of the electric fence.
A charge controller is not required as the charge controller is built into the recommended horizont-pasture fence unit or is not required. The solar kit is suitable for the following electric fencers: trapper® B12, trapper® B22, older equiSTOP® 9 V units.
There are two possible uses of the solar kit:
1. the device works with module in parallel operation (during the day directly via the solar module and at night via a 9 V dry battery).
2. the device works with a super-fleece battery, which is charged via the module.

- Tip: for the proper use of your solar panel, pay attention to the following points: 1. orientation angle 45 degrees 2. no overshadowing by trees 3. no pollution or overgrowth
- Tip: If you want to check your battery, disconnect the solar panel beforehand and wait approx. 15 minutes before measuring the voltage at the battery. This way you can be sure that you are measuring the actual power of the battery - without support from the solar panel
