Impact cuffs
Ideal for keeping your pet calm during transport!
Impact shackles, also known as handcuffs, are used in livestock farming to securely restrain cattle or other farm animals. They are often used to restrain or immobilise animals for medical treatment or to keep them still during transport.
Impact cuffs consist of two handcuffs connected together and a short steel rod placed between them. The handcuffs are placed around the animal's front legs and connected to the steel rod to immobilise the animal.
It is important that impact cuffs are only used under veterinary supervision and that they are only used for short periods of time to avoid unnecessary stress or pain to the animals. The use of impact restraints should also only be considered as a last resort when other, less restrictive methods are not sufficient.
