Particularly at corner posts, large forces occur due to the tensioning of the fence. The corner pulley ensures low-friction deflection of plastic strands or electric wire to the wooden corner posts. The consistently round contact surface of the insulator is particularly effective in preventing damage to the rope caused by the insulator. The insulator is attached to the post by screwing it in.
