Our laying nest with integrated egg collection tray is the ideal addition to your chicken coop.

It offers your hens a protected, clean and darkened retreat for laying eggs. Up to six hens will find enough space to lay eggs in the easy-care laying nest. The dimensions of the plastic laying nest for chickens are: 46x37x45 cm (L x W X H).

The black/brown laying nest is made of recycled plastic and is therefore sustainable (due to the recycled material, there may be colour variations!). The rounded and sloping roof of the nest prevents the hens from settling on the roof and soiling it. It also prevents them from disturbing other hens while laying eggs. Slits in the nest roof provide sufficient ventilation and create a comfortable environment for egg laying without letting in too much light. The lid of the egg tray with a non-slip structure allows the hens easy access to the nest.

Compared to laying nests made of metal or wood, the chicken nest is particularly easy to clean, does not rust and is not susceptible to parasites. The integrated egg collection tray offers space for 8 to 12 eggs. Due to the sloping nest bottom, the eggs automatically roll into the collection tray after laying, stay clean and are protected from pecking. The hinged lid of the egg collection tray allows quick, easy and above all clean removal of the eggs. The tray is also removable, making the nest particularly easy to clean. The chicken nest is supplied as a kit for easy self-assembly. Four holes on the rear outer edge allow for quick and easy attachment to the wall and a secure hold. The laying nest is also equipped with feet and can be placed on the floor if required, which further increases mobility in the coop.
