Top insulator for T-posts

The top insulator minimises the risk of injury to animals on the metal edges at the top of the T-post. It is made of plastic and is suitable for attaching various conductor materials such as rope, stranded wire, wire and tape up to 40 mm. The top insulator can be mounted quickly by clipping it onto the T-post, no tools are required. The conductor material is simply inserted into the holder on the insulator, secured with the clip and then sits firmly on the post.

Insulators prevent short circuits between the live conductor material and the fence post. Insulators are a decisive factor for the reliable function of an electrified pasture fence. They are made of non-conductive materials. Insulators for electric fences are usually made of plastic.

Plastic insulators

Plastic insulators are made of polyethylene, polycarbonate or nylon. They secure the electrical conductor close to a row of posts without energy being lost via the post. As the insulator must match both the conductor material used and the post type used, there is a relatively large selection of insulators.
