Our horizont chick heating plate combines modern technology with intuitive design to provide a safe and cosy environment for your chicken chicks and many other poultry species during their first weeks of life. Thanks to the innovative heating system, which enables a constant and even heat output, your young animals enjoy the same optimum temperature at every point on the plate - a significant advantage over conventional heating systems, where heat is concentrated in the centre and lower temperatures prevail towards the outside. The heating plate reaches the desired temperature very quickly without the risk of overheating the chicks.

With dimensions of 30.5 x 23.0 cm and height-adjustable legs, our warming plate adapts perfectly to the needs of 20-25 chicks and is easy to adjust for the growth and different requirements of other poultry species such as bantams, ducks, pheasants and quails. The height-adjustable legs are provided with a scale to make height adjustment even easier and more precise, allowing optimal adaptation to the size of your birds.

With a consumption of only 15 watts , the chick heating plate enables a significant reduction in electricity consumption compared to traditional heat lamps. Easy cleaning thanks to the highly polished surface guarantees optimum hygiene conditions throughout the rearing phase. The optional protective cover further improves cleanliness while minimising energy consumption.

In addition, our heating plate is characterised by its operation with 12 volts low voltage, which makes it particularly safe in the domestic environment. A power supply unit included in the scope of delivery enables easy connection to the 230 volt mains supply.
