Chicken fence

The perfect chicken fence for your garden or yard.

If you want to keep poultry in your garden, a high-quality fence is essential. This is the only way to ensure that your animals are safe and protected. A good poultry fence should not only keep chickens in, but also keep other animals out. This includes rats, mice, cats and other small animals that can cause harm to the chickens. A good electric fence should also prevent larger animals such as dogs or foxes from entering the garden.

The height of the fence depends on the type of chickens you want to keep. Most chicken breeds can jump up to a height of 60 cm, so the poultry netting should be at least this height. Other breeds, such as silkie chickens, can jump up to one metre high.

A good chicken fence should meet some important criteria. For one thing, it should be made of high-quality plastic so that you can enjoy it for a long time. It should also be high enough and electrified so that the chickens cannot climb over the fence. Stability is also an essential factor to consider when choosing a chicken fence. Many of our poultry nets therefore have posts with double spikes

What makes a poultry net?

A poultry net is primarily intended for keeping smaller animals such as chickens, turkeys or geese. The extremely tear-resistant knot points, closely spaced strands and the particularly narrow mesh size in the lower area of horizont poultry nets prevent the animals from escaping.

In our range you will find poultry nets in heights between 105cm and 120cm.

Furthermore, you have the choice between nets with single and double points.

On stony ground it is recommended to use a single spike as it is easier to anchor in the ground.

The use of stakes with a double tip, on the other hand, is particularly recommended for sandy or earthy soil conditions, as they ensure greater stability. In addition, stakes with a double tip are easier to enter the ground due to their wider tread.

What are the advantages of an electric chicken fence?

An electric chicken fence is the safest way to protect your chickens from escaping. The physical barrier and the electric shock that occurs when the fence is touched guarantees optimal guarding safety.

Furthermore, an electric chicken fence offers additional protection against wild animals such as foxes and martens.
