The turbomax® high energy series was developed in cooperation with the State Sheep Breeders' Association of Baden-Württemberg, taking into account the requirements for wolf-repellent sheep nets. The turbomax high energy sheep nets were specially developed for use in rough terrain and are significantly lighter than comparable sheep nets. The rigid vertical strands virtually eliminate the usual sagging of the net between the poles.
With the sheep net turbomax® high energy braided, horizont introduces an extension of the successful series in which braided strands are used in a sheep net for the first time. With the braided strand, the current-conducting conductor material is braided into the PE plastic monofilaments, in contrast to conventional nets. This protects the conductor material very well against wear and improves the tensile strength of the net. Likewise, the braided strand leads to less tangles when pulling or carrying, which simplifies the setting up and dismantling of the nets for the shepherd. The turbomax® high energy braided is equipped with an earth conductor in the lowest strand to ensure the best possible herding safety even in dry conditions. For optimal stability and insertion into the ground, the sheep net has a double tip. The net is suitable for both mobile and semi-permanent use.
The turbomax® high energy braided plus earth net is a professional net with a height of 105 cm and a length of 50 m, which in this version has an additional earth conductor. This means that the lower strand is equipped with stainless steel and copper conductors, which effectively reduces the ground resistance. The return current is conducted along the mains to the unit.
The stainless steel and copper conductors also contribute to an even higher level of safety, as their combination has the best usage properties. Due to the good conductivity of 0.33 Ohm / metre, you can operate several nets with one unit and thus fence in a larger area safely.
Due to the 14 stable stakes made of plastic with double tips (155 mm long and 6.5 mm thick), a firm stand is guaranteed even under high wind loads or in loose soil. The white colour of the strands and stakes makes them easily visible even at dusk, so that wild and farm animals cannot accidentally walk through and damage the net.
The 60% reinforced bottom and top strands of the sheep net also ensure a high load-bearing capacity when tensioning the nets. The low weight is also an advantage when transporting and erecting the nets.
The innovative turbomax® high energy braided plus earth sheep net also consistently supports nature conservation. Small animals such as frogs, rabbits or pheasants can slip through the lower meshes because, at 20 x 30 cm, they are larger than in conventional nets. They thus remain unharmed, while the protection of the fenced sheep remains unchanged. In addition, due to the larger meshes, the sheep net has less contact with possible vegetation and thus a higher energy.
The optimised mesh spacing throughout the net also allows you to set up the net in taller grass without causing much run-off. This means that it is no longer absolutely necessary to mow the area clear. Despite its high performance, the net consumes less energy, which is why you also have less effort when recharging the batteries.
The beginning of the net is marked with a different coloured pole insulator so that you can quickly find the beginning when setting up the nets and the net cannot get tangled. In addition, the sheep net has robust stainless steel clips for easy connection from net to net without additional tools or individual parts that can get lost.
The horizont net "turbomax® high energy braided plus earth" with a height of 105 cm is special in many respects and an all-rounder among nets. Unique on the market so far is the additional earth conductor on the net, which ensures sufficient earthing even in dry conditions. In addition, the net has larger meshes than conventional nets.
Small animals such as frogs, pheasants or hedgehogs can slip through these meshes. They therefore do not get caught in the net and remain unharmed, thus horizont consistently supports sustainable nature conservation. As part of the "turbomax® high energy braided nets" by horizont, the turbomax® high energy braided plus earth net is also one of the sheep nets tested by the Landeschafzuchtverband Baden-Württemberg.
The net is recommended by the association especially for repelling wolves. With a height of 105 cm, it complies with the subsidy guidelines and specifications of a minimum height of 90 cm and thus provides reliable protection.
