For the electric fence to work properly, it is very important to install the earthing of the electric fence correctly. In order for the return line to work via the ground, especially if it is dry, frozen, sandy or stony, it is important to dimension the earthing sufficiently. Thus, depending on the energy type of the electric fencing equipment, we recommend earthing stakes up to 1 m long and, if necessary, several of them connected to each other.
Our stable horizont earth stake with 1 m length and 3 mm material thickness made of galvanised T-angle iron is supplied complete with connection screw. We recommend the 1 m length for all 12 volt battery-powered devices and battery-powered solar devices. The large contact surface to the ground ensures more efficient earthing.
