Electrified pasture fences are a good solution to prevent your animals from escaping or predators such as foxes and martens from entering the fenced area. Electricity becomes a problem when you want to get to your animals. Be it to collect eggs or to feed them. Once the fence is electrified, it is no longer easy to get into the enclosure. One option would be to switch off the electricity, but this costs time and endangers the safety of the animals.
Our Hotgate gate for pasture fences allows safe access to the pasture. The 110cm gate is the ideal solution for getting into the fenced area quickly and safely without having to switch off the electricity, because although the net of the gate can be electrified, the frame of the gate is insulating and therefore effectively protects against electric shocks. The connection accessories supplied ensure a secure connection between the net and the gate.
The electrifiable Hotgate gate for nets from 90 to 105cm high is suitable for poultry nets, pasture nets or sheep nets and is therefore ideal for keeping poultry, sheep and dogs or for wolf control.
The gate can be integrated into the net at any point and can also be retrofitted into existing fences. A small mesh size in the lower net area, firmly welded nodes, a reinforced top strand and sturdy fibreglass posts with double spikes provide additional escape protection.
