Uses:
The causes of prolapse of the uterus in sheep are many: - mineral deficiency - trauma (shocks during concentrate administration) - deliveries (premature labor) Prolapse of the uterus (uterine prolapse) happens in sheep before parturition. The application of a birth control device must be done after the genital tract has been cleaned and put back in place. Always use disposable gloves and birth gel. To keep the birth preventer in place, please attach it to the wool or attach a strap to the ewe's girth passage. This will serve as the attachment for the birth preventer strap. The birth preventer must be able to be pushed out during lambing. It is advisable to monitor ewes with birth preventers especially to prevent lambing and birthing problems.
