The farmer® AS140 electric fence energiser is powered by the replaceable, integrated 12 V battery and the 24 W solar module. The solar charge control guarantees problem-free recharging and is built into the device to protect it from the weather.
The 3-stage "Energy Control" LED display provides a quick check of the battery capacity and also shows you the activity of the electric fence energiser by flashing in time with the pulse output. This allows you to recognise the activity of the device from a distance.
Our electric fence energisers are made from high-quality plastics and are UV-resistant, splash-proof, torsion-resistant, impact-resistant and oil-resistant. This guarantees that the electric fence device will last for many years.
The electric fence energiser is suitable for fence lengths (medium vegetation) of up to 14 km.
We recommend installing the electric fence energiser with 2 earthing rods of 1 m each for optimum fence safety
The fence energiser, power supply unit, mounting aid for attaching to fence posts, 12 V battery, 24 W solar panel, fence and earth connection cable are included in the scope of delivery.

Repair service
Reliable, competent and fast contact
Good service plays a major role at horizont. In our in-house repair workshop, experts are available to assist you with words and deeds. In case of a defect or damage of your device (e.g. due to lightning strike or moisture ingress), horizont's technical service will be at your disposal at short notice.
Many of horizont's specialized trade partners can repair your device on site thanks to simple modular construction or your device will be repaired in the service center in Korbach and you will be helped with a loaner device during the short repair time (usually 48 hours).
During the subsequent safety inspection, all components of the device are tested and you receive a one-year warranty on the complete device.
