horizont 12 V / 230 V electric fence - ranger® AN360
ranger® - Our professional series for high demands and dry site conditions. The ranger pasture fencing devices are ideally suited for grazing animals such as cattle or horses.

The electric fence can be connected to 230 V mains power and a 12 V battery at the same time. In the event of a mains power failure, uninterrupted operation is guaranteed via the battery. Optionally, the electric fence can also be operated with a solar panel. The flexible 6-mode function allows you to set the pulse sequence for your fence as needed. In addition to the power saving circuit, the output energy level (APN = automatic power level) is set in steps up to 60% of the set maximum energy and is automatically adjusted when the load changes, e.g. due to vegetation on the fence. For greater safety of man and beast, the "Impulse Control" function switches the electric fence off or reduces the output energy if the impulse output is too fast (e.g. technical defect). The fence insulation indicator "System Control" shows the insulation status of your pasture fence in 6 steps. If all 6 LEDs light up, the fence insulation is good and little energy is required. The lower the number of LEDs lit up, the more dissipation there is such as overgrowth or poor grounding and the higher the energy consumption. With the convenient on/off switch on the electric fence unit, there is no longer a need to turn off the power with a fence switch or by pulling the plug. The battery capacity and the activity of the device can be clearly seen via the high-quality 2-color LED control display. With the special power saving circuit, the power consumption of the electric fence unit adjusts to the fence, which provides less energy consumption, less environmental impact and less cost. The two fence outputs provide different output energies (full strength and safer energy limited to 1 J) for flexible operation of a large and/or small pasture. The clear 6-level LED voltage display allows easy monitoring of your electric fence unit remotely. Our electric fence units are all made of high quality plastics and are UV stabilized, splash proof, torsion resistant, impact resistant and oil resistant. This guarantees you many years of durability of the electric fence device. Electric fence, power supply unit, fence cable, ground cable and battery connection cable are included in delivery.
The electric fence is suitable for fence lengths (medium vegetation) up to 17 km.
We recommend to set up the electric fence device with 2 grounding rods for optimal herding safety.

Repair service
Reliable, competent and fast contact
Good service plays a major role at horizont. In our in-house repair workshop, experts are available to assist you with words and deeds. In case of a defect or damage of your device (e.g. due to lightning strike or moisture ingress), horizont's technical service will be at your disposal at short notice.
Many of horizont's specialized trade partners can repair your device on site thanks to simple modular construction or your device will be repaired in the service center in Korbach and you will be helped with a loaner device during the short repair time (usually 48 hours).
During the subsequent safety inspection, all components of the device are tested and you receive a one-year warranty on the complete device.
