Environmentally friendly and well thought out:
The 15 watt monocrystalline glass solar module embedded in the case lid makes the appliance independent of power sources and saves energy. Glass increases longevity (compared to plastic) - the smooth surface prevents the formation of moss and other soiling - and the monocrystalline module also offers significantly higher efficiency compared to polycrystalline modules.
Even without sunlight / solar panel, the energiser can ensure a guarding period of 8,5 days. A poor fence system or heavy vegetation can reduce the runtime. The runtime is doubled with a second battery.
Tip: Check the fence regularly for vegetation, falling branches and defective insulators to maximise efficiency.
Thanks to drainage channels, the formation of moisture or ice is effectively reduced - ideal for use in all weather conditions.
Status display - everything always in view:
The waterproof on/off switch with integrated LED display reliably informs you of the device's operating status.
Green: Battery is sufficiently charged and the device is working properly
Flashing red/green: Battery should be charged soon
Red: Battery is almost empty and must be charged immediately
This allows you to keep an eye on the status of the energiser at all times - simply, clearly and safely.
Flexible and expandable:
The case system offers space for accessories, including an optional 230V power supply unit, which can also be used to operate the device from the mains. A second battery can also be added to the case, allowing you to double the running time of your device.
Ready for use in just a few minutes:
Simply hammer in the supplied ground stake, position the device and switch it on - and your pasture is safe. The device can be stabilised with a special metal stake (available separately) to make the most of the sunlight.

- This warning stands for possible harmful situations caused by electrical voltage, which can lead to serious injury or death if not observed!
- Fire hazard warning
- Warning - there is a risk of smouldering fire if heat builds up. The appliance must not be covered by materials etc. during operation, as this can lead to heat build-up and possibly to fire. Therefore, do not install in areas at risk of fire (e.g. hay and straw stores)
- Warning! Repairs may only be carried out by qualified persons. Only the replacement parts specified by the manufacturer may be used. We reserve the right to make technical changes!
- Please do not cover the electric fence with a plastic bag. Fire hazard due to overheating

Repair service
Reliable, competent and fast contact
Good service plays a major role at horizont. In our in-house repair workshop, experts are available to assist you with words and deeds. In case of a defect or damage of your device (e.g. due to lightning strike or moisture ingress), horizont's technical service will be at your disposal at short notice.
Many of horizont's specialized trade partners can repair your device on site thanks to simple modular construction or your device will be repaired in the service center in Korbach and you will be helped with a loaner device during the short repair time (usually 48 hours).
During the subsequent safety inspection, all components of the device are tested and you receive a one-year warranty on the complete device.
