Flexible power supply with battery included: The shockstar S40 can be operated with a 9 V or 12 V battery or rechargeable battery. A high-quality 9 V zinc-carbon battery with 55 Ah is already included in the scope of delivery, so you can start protecting your animals immediately.
Reliable solar technology: With a high-quality plastic solar panel enclosed in a robust polycarbonate frame, the shockstar S40 is ready for immediate use. The integrated solar module with 5 watts of power provides an efficient power supply and automatically switches to solar mode.
Intelligent energy control: The 3-stage "Energy Control" LED display provides a quick check of the battery capacity and indicates the activity of the electric fence by flashing in time with the pulse output. The energy-saving circuit adapts to the fence and minimises energy consumption for lower costs and environmental impact.
User-friendly design: With a practical on/off switch and an ergonomic carrying handle, the shockstar S40 is easy to operate and transport. Made from high-quality plastics, it is UV-resistant, splash-proof, torsion-resistant, impact-resistant and oil-resistant for many years of durability.

Repair service
Reliable, competent and fast contact
Good service plays a major role at horizont. In our in-house repair workshop, experts are available to assist you with words and deeds. In case of a defect or damage of your device (e.g. due to lightning strike or moisture ingress), horizont's technical service will be at your disposal at short notice.
Many of horizont's specialized trade partners can repair your device on site thanks to simple modular construction or your device will be repaired in the service center in Korbach and you will be helped with a loaner device during the short repair time (usually 48 hours).
During the subsequent safety inspection, all components of the device are tested and you receive a one-year warranty on the complete device.
