horizont sheep net turbomax ® high energy braided plus earth with earthing conductor | 120 cm high | 50 m long | double spike | electrifiable
- Increased tensile strength due to braided stranded wire
- Small game can slip through the larger mesh spacing on the ground and is thus protected
- Additional earth conductor ensures good earthing even in dry conditions
The turbomax® high energy series was developed in collaboration with the Baden-Württemberg State Sheep Breeders' Association, taking into account the requirements for wolf-repellent sheep nets. The turbomax high energy sheep nets have been specially developed for use in rough terrain and are significantly lighter than comparable sheep nets. Their low weight and height of 120 cm make them easier to set up, while the rigid vertical strands virtually eliminate the usual sagging of the net between the poles.
With the turbomax® high energy braided sheep net, horizont is introducing an extension to its successful series in which braided strands are used ina sheep net for the first time. In contrast to conventional meshes, the current-conducting conductor material in the braided strand is braided into the PE plastic monofilaments. As a result, the conductor material is very well protected against wear and the tensile strength of the mesh is improved. The braided strand also results in fewer tangles when pulling or carrying, making it easier for the shepherd to set up and dismantle the nets. The turbomax® high energy braided is equipped with an earth conductor in the lowest strand to ensure the best possible shepherd safety even in dry conditions. The sheep net has a double spike for optimum stability and insertion into the ground. The net is suitable for both mobile and semi-permanent use.
The turbomax® high energy braided plus earth net is a professional net with a height of 120 cm and a length of 50 m, which in this version has an additional earth conductor. This means that the lower strand is equipped with stainless steel and copper conductors, which effectively reduces the ground resistance. The return current is conducted along the mains to the appliance.
The stainless steel and copper conductors also contribute to an even higher level of safety, the combination of which has the best usage properties. Thanks to the good conductivity of 0.32 Ohm / metre, you can operate several nets with one device and thus safely fence in a larger area.
The 14 sturdy plastic stakes with double tips ensure a firm foot ing even under high wind loads or in loose soil. The white colour of the strands and posts makes them clearly visible even at dusk, so that wild animals and livestock cannot accidentally pass through and damage the net.
The 60 % reinforced bottom and top strands of the sheep net also ensure a high load-bearing capacity when tensioning the nets. The low weight is also an advantage when transporting and setting up the nets.
The innovative turbomax® high energy braided plus earth sheep net also consistently supports nature conservation. Small animals such as frogs, hares or pheasants can slip through the lower meshes, as these are 20 x 30 cm larger than in conventional nets. As a result, they remain unharmed, while the protection of the fenced-in sheep remains unchanged. In addition, the sheep net has less contact with possible vegetation due to the larger meshes and therefore has higher energy.
Thanks to the optimised mesh spacing throughout the net, you can also set up the net in taller grass without causing too much run-off. It is therefore no longer absolutely necessary to mow the area. Despite its high performance, the mesh has a lower energy consumption, which means you also have less effort when recharging the batteries.
The start of the net is marked with a different coloured stake insulator so that you can quickly find the start when setting up the nets and the net cannot get tangled. The sheep net also has robust stainless steel clips for easy connection of net to net without additional tools or individual parts that can be lost.
The net is particularly recommended by the association for the defence against wolves. With a height of 90 cm, it complies with the subsidy guidelines and specifications of at least 90 cm in height and therefore provides reliable protection.
In order to reliably protect your sheep with the turbomax® high energy braided plus earth net at a height of 120 cm, you should take great care when setting it up. In our horizont guide videos, we give you some tips on setting up sheep nets and show you step by step what you need to consider.
From setting up the posts and connecting several nets to connecting the fencing unit - we will guide you through the various assembly phases so that you get a fence that is safe for sheep and also repels wolves.
