Thanks to the optimization of the circuit board, the use of high-quality electronic components, and software-controlled energy management, the ranger® ABN60 now has +12% more battery life.
The integrated deep discharge protection reliably protects the battery and prevents power loss. The intelligent power-saving circuit automatically adjusts energy consumption to the fence load – for maximum efficiency and longer operating cycles.

For maximum autonomy, a solar panel can also be mounted directly on the carrying handle. The energiser automatically detects the solar source and switches to solar mode on its own – ideal for remote pastures.

Thanks to the practical on/off switch and ergonomic carrying handle, the device is easy to transport and operate – even with the battery inserted.

Fire hazard warning
Warning - there is a risk of smouldering fire if heat builds up. The appliance must not be covered by materials etc. during operation, as this can lead to heat build-up and possibly to fire. Therefore, do not install in areas at risk of fire (e.g. hay and straw stores)
Warning! Repairs may only be carried out by qualified persons. Only the replacement parts specified by the manufacturer may be used. We reserve the right to make technical changes!
Please do not cover the electric fence with a plastic bag. Fire hazard due to overheating

Repair service

Reliable, competent and fast contact

Good service plays a major role at horizont. In our in-house repair workshop, experts are available to assist you with words and deeds. In case of a defect or damage of your device (e.g. due to lightning strike or moisture ingress), horizont's technical service will be at your disposal at short notice.

Many of horizont's specialized trade partners can repair your device on site thanks to simple modular construction or your device will be repaired in the service center in Korbach and you will be helped with a loaner device during the short repair time (usually 48 hours).

During the subsequent safety inspection, all components of the device are tested and you receive a one-year warranty on the complete device.
